The UICHR Child Labor Research Initiative's Resource Collection is intended to share with our visitors a sampling of those Internet resources the UICHR staff and friends find most useful in their daily work. The collection is by no means exhaustive — nor is it intended as such. We offer it with the hope that our visitors will find those resources we are able to provide equally as beneficial. Child Labor Basics The links collected here provide materials designed to aid the user in developing a fundamental overview of child labor and the associated social, political, legal and human rights-related issues surrounding efforts to eliminate the practice. Online News Sources Our Online News section consists of direct links to newspapers, journals and NGOs that provide regular coverage of child labor and child rights issues worldwide. Legal Resources Our Legal Resources collection includes links to those sources that provide the most reliable and up-to-date information and texts addressing child labor and child rights. Organizations - General This section includes links to U.S. Governmental bodies, as well as global coalitions, campaigns and other efforts of a cooperative nature or involving multiple NGOs and agencies. Organizations - Inter-Governmental Inter-governmental organizations include U.N. agencies, mutli-lateral treaty bodies, and other agencies and commissions working to provide regional or global solutions to child labor problems.
