Overview
Our Resources section contains links to human rights and human rights-related Internet resources that the UICHR staff, colleagues, and friends have found most useful in their daily work. We strive to include only sites containing high quality content likely to match the interests of our visitors.
This section is a work always in progress. Accordingly, we welcome any and all suggestions that can enhance this site. Currently we are in the process of reviewing, reconstituting, and updating our various resource databases. What follows is our progress so far.

Links to online resources that provide collections of links to basic human rights materials, legal research, basic human rights protections, and the rights of specific classes of individuals.
Including the UN Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and other core global and regional international human rights instruments.
Links to online document archives including the United Nations Treaty Collection and the documentary collections of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Council of Europe, the Organization of American States, the African Union, and a comprehensive archive maintained by the University of Minnesota.
Links to a variety of organizations active in promoting and/or defending human rights concerns. The links are divided into three main categories: Inter-Governmental, Non-Governmental, and Academic Centers.
Organizations comprised of representatives from a cross-section of official bodies, such as the United Nations and the European Union. The links are divided into those with a broad international focus, and those concentrated within particular geographic regions.
Private organizations that pursue activities to relieve suffering, promote the interests of the poor, protect the environment, or undertake community development.
This section contains a collection of human rights journals and reviews we have compiled. Some listed journals have open online access, while other listed journals have closed or no online access, where subscription is necessary to view the journal.
This section, intended to contain a comprehensive survey of links on various human-rights topics, is perpetually a work in progress. If there is a particular topic you would like to see included, or if you have a link or list of links that you would like to recommend for inclusion, please send us an e-mail.
