We may not have a traditional coach, but we do have some very talented Coaches willing to teach private lessons
Offers private lessons for Epee and for footwork if you’re interested in accelerating your fencing career. He’s a B09 in the USFA, the 2009 Iowa Division Champion in Mens Epee, ranked 34th in the nation for Div 3 Mens Epee, and has been coaching throughout his college career. This past year his Epee students took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the Annual Hawkeye Novice Tournament, and 1st place in the 2008 Novice Tournament.
Nick offers lessons in hour and half hour increments, with a maximum of two hours per lesson. He is very flexible with class schedules and can even meet most weekends. If you’d like to set up a lesson time you can reach him at beatty.nicholas@gmail.com
- Judy O’Donnell:
Offers private lessons in Epee and Foil. She has be coaching for 30+ years, ran the Boston Fencing Club (one of the largest fencing clubs on the East Coast), and has sent students to some of the highest levels of competition (including the Olympics).
