Stephanie Schmidt

I am a senior graduate student at the University of Iowa and my area is Applied Mathematics to Chemistry. I am working on creating a mathematical model of the hydrogen proton transfer through the Nafion membrane in a Hydrogen/Oxygen fuel cell. I have been involved in a variety of activities throughout my years at Iowa. When I'm not doing math, I enjoy exercising, volunteering for the Cedar Rapids Police Auxiliary, doing crafts, traveling, and spending time with my husband and brand new baby girl.
