Dr. David Ross
Vice President '92-95
Graduated '95, but went to med school at the UI so continued to ski with the team.
Favorite event: by far slalom, but forced myself to trick and jump for team points.
Personal best while on the team: 3 @ 35 off. Personal best at present: 4 @ 38 off.
Favorite memories stem from a trip to Kansas right after joining the team that resulted in nicknames such as "No-no" and "Luvs"..the players know who they are and what was involved. Also some very good times had in Ft Lauderdale.

At present, I live 60 miles west of Minneapolis with my wife and two
kids. We are lucky to be on a lake with a course, and have two swamps
nearby with 3 other courses that are essentially ours alone. My 9 year
old began rounding buoys and barefooting last year in addition to
wakeboarding, my 6 year old learned to ski at 4, and looks to pick up
wakeboarding this year (2008).

Leah Timmerman
President in '07
Leah enjoys long walks on the beach and watching sunsets.
Psychology, Integrative Physiology and Pre-Physical Therapy My favorite event is Jump because it ROCKS! I can't even pick a best part of the team, there are just so many! But I would have to say its all of the great people that you meet and the crazy times that are had.

Christy Kingsmill
Christy takes care of the team and makes sure none of us die. She's good at what she does, no fatalities under her watchful eye.

Kelli Kroeplin
Rockford, Illinois
Business Management Major, Spanish Minor
I ski slalom and ride over the jump (HA!) and my favorite part of the ski team is: the networking with other teams... especially at tournaments. I love how we go out on the water, ski for ourselves and for our team, but can cheer on other skiers to do their best. Of course, partying with everyone afterwards is fun, too :)

Cory Bloom
In the fall of 2006 Cory was doing a 360 off the jump ramp and landed wrong. His back was broken in three places and both legs shattered. Now he flys hot air balloons.

Jeff Smith
Jeff Smith was a Marketing, Psychology, and Entrepreneurship student from Sioux City, Iowa. He graduated in May of 2008 and planned on continuing the marketing/psychology track or start his own web design/advertising business.
