WHY you would want to join the family:
- All the skiing/boarding you can handle!
- Every year we take a trip during winter break to our very own oasis, “The Swiss Ski School,” just outside Orlando, Florida. The price varies depending on how people go. Last year the cost was just over $350 for the week plus and food.
- An experience to remember! The team hosts many social events throughout the year! These events range from social gatherings to barcrawls and competitions to conferences with pro skiers.
- Competitions! It is completely up to you whether not you want to compete at the tournaments. If competition isn’t you thing, you also come just for the social events afterward. Some members have a dual membership with "The Waterhawks." Contact a member on the People Page for more information.
WHAT you need to join:
- You DON’T need any equipment! Feel free to use ours. The team as an assortment of skis and boards.
- You DON’T need any experience! We will teach you everything you need to know whether it’s slalom, trick, jump, or wakeboard. We do it all!
- You DO need USA Waterski insurance. No “ifs, ands, or buts,” it is only $35/yr. In addition to the insurance we have dues of $200/yr. This covers fuel in the boat for the academic school year. This may seem like a lot in comparison to other student orgs, but it’s a steal to ski for free all year!
