Emmaus Spiritual Retreat

Friday, October 3—Sunday , October 5, 2008

A retreat for students by students to foster a deeper spiritual dialogue.

What is Emmaus

The Emmaus Retreat offers students a chance be in a natural setting, to relax  and to join a   spiritual conversation.  Student leaders prepare and offer the retreat to other students. The Emmaus Retreat deepens the spiritual dialogue as student leaders offer personal reflections throughout the weekend.  The Emmaus Retreat also nurtures community, allowing time for recreation, opportunity to make gifts for others, and GREAT HOMEMADE FOOD.  If you need to sleep and have personal space, this is the setting for that as well.

Where is it?

The Emmaus Retreat takes place at Camp Wyoming which is just outside of Wyoming, Iowa.  This camp sits next to the beautiful Maquoketa River.  Explore caves, hike in the woods, enjoy the fire in the lodge.
