WRAC trains new volunteers at the beginning of each Semester. Our next training begins February 2nd . Any student, staff or faculty member at the University of Iowa - and anyone in the surrounding community - can volunteer at the Center. No prior experience or special qualifications are needed for most volunteer positions; training is provided. After completing training, volunteers may serve as Diversity Dialogue Leaders, Group Facilitators, IWIS members, Men's Anti-Violence Council members, or on our Advisory Board.
All volunteers are asked to submit a Volunteer Application. Training sessions are offered near the beginning of each Fall and Spring semester during the academic year.
